super worth it, but that's going to be a tough ass sell at $500 (though that discount code works on it, too). there's also a new marshall specific bundle, that includes amp room, four official marshall amps/cabs, and the marshall cab collection. nothing i've tried sounds or feels better, is easier to use, better thought out, easier to record with, more fun, or more rewarding to more right-brained approaches. if anyone tells you that you can get a better amp sim for less (or any price?), they're just wrong.

huge time/resource saver.Īnyhow, it's $89, has a free 20 day demo, and you can knock off another 10% with the following code: PROGEARVINTAGEVIBE. now i don't need several different instances or tracks of amp room to try new things and compare it's all in a single instance now. so now you can have four sounds to switch between to see what fits your track, or you can copy/paste and then experiment with different cabs and pedals without losing what you originally had. the new multistate feature lets you have four separate chains to switch between, and you can copy settings from one to another. and staring at a whole ass amp, cab or pedal is just fun. the cool new zoom feature makes everything super big and neat looking, so you can just make one component big to tweak it rather than constantly zooming in and out. I prefer the minimal look of the old utilities, but this new console look is easier to see and manipulate. the rat sounds awesome with the vox, but i haven't done much testing with it or the grind yet. the new trem and vibrato are a trip, especially in stereo. the silver face is cleaner and brighter than the other fender and has a master volume, and the ampeg is, like the hiwatt, also a killer guitar amp for cleans (bass is with the tech so i haven't tried that yet). the new recto makes the one in amplitube 5 sound small and weak. I haven't done extensive a/b tests yet, but early returns suggest it's still the best.
